Andrew and Rob attended Georgetown University together and both found themselves in New York City after graduating. After a over a decade in consulting for Andrew and financial services for Rob, the two combined to start Gateway 14 LLC, drawing on their varied experience across the two fields.
Rob Burnett
After bouncing around in his early years, Rob ended up in North Dallas for his middle and high-school years. From a young age, he was working in hospitality. While he would attend Georgetown University in DC, every summer he found himself back in Dallas, working in all positions of restaurants: line cook, server, delivery, security, and even spending time in corporate strategy for a major franchisee in the area. After briefly working in first media and then consulting, Rob moved to New York City, to begin a career in financial sales and trading. He merged his experience working for a small derivatives brokerage shop with ,later, the largest Interdealer Brokerage in the world to help launch Market Securities LLC in New York. Already a well established brand internationally, it was Rob and his team that brought the name to the United States.
Rob currently resides in Florida full time, however spends much time between New York and his home, Dallas Texas.
Andrew Bruhn
Andrew grew up as a competitive tennis player and has always had an interest in managing small businesses and franchises. After finishing at Georgetown, Andrew worked at Deloitte for multiple years before joining the first of two VC backed software-as-a-service start-ups, where he’s led multimillion dollar accounts and sales to some of the world’s largest enterprises. Andrew lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and two young children. He still loves to play tennis, as well as golf, basketball, and pretty much any other sport.
